At Carolina Bridges Home Health d/b/a Dignified Caregiving of NC, we know and understand the importance of providing services with the well-being and safety of our clients, client’s family and of our employees in mind.
We have implemented the following protocols as a result of the coronavirus.
Employee Responsibility
o All of our employees have received additional training on helping to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
o All of our employees will wear a mask when they are in your home and will practice extra hand washing and social distancing (when possible) when providing services and care. Gloves are also provided to our employees for use inside of your home.
o Our employees will not bring bags, purses or coats into your home.
o Our employees may use disinfectant spray or wipes as recommended by the CDC on all door handles and surfaces in your home.
Client Responsibility
o Our clients must report possible coronavirus symptoms and coronavirus exposure to our office.
o Our registered nurses may accommodate a client for reasons such as a positive coronavirus test, unless declined by the client.
o Clients may change their schedule or care program, so that we can provide support within our capabilities and in line with state and labor guidelines.
Office Safety
o We have restricted our office to ‘by appointment only’, so that we can ensure appropriate social distancing. Anyone who enters the office must wear a mask.
o We provide hand sanitizer and masks (if not already donned) to anyone entering our office.
